Alane Lynn Cole

Alane M. Lynn, Hamlin, died Monday in the Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit after a short illness.  She was the widow of William J. Lynn who died in 1975.

Born 1946 in Hamlin, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Beavers Cole and was a graduate of the Lake Consolidated School.  She was a woman of great faith and was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Hollisterville.  Prior to her illness Alane had been employed by Weis Supermarket in Hamlin for many years.

Surviving are a daughter Laurie Stout and her husband Dean of Corydon, IN; a sister Edna Heller of Levittown; brothers Clay Cole of Hamlin and Clarence Cole of Moscow; grandsons William J. White and Devin R. Stout both of Indiana; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister Eva Hall.

A celebration of Alane’s life will be held Friday at 7pm in the First Baptist Church of Hollisterville, 23 Pond Rd. Hollisterville by Rev. James Sheridan, pastor.

Cremation will be held in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to the donor’s favorite charity.

A celebration of Alane’s life will be held Friday at 7pm in the First Baptist Church of Hollisterville, 23 Pond Rd. Hollisterville by Rev. James Sheridan, pastor.

Cremation will be held in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
