Alexander Radkiewicz

Alexander Radkiewicz, 66, of Greentown, PA passed away at his home on October 22, 2025. Born in Trenton, NJ, Alex was the cherished son of the late Barbara Vetterl Radkiewicz Orlowski and late Alexander Radkiewicz. He is survived by his loving daughter Bethany Piskorski; son-in-law Jacob Piskorski; three beautiful grandchildren; step-sons Jeremy Haag and Ryan Haag; his siblings Lenny Orlowski, Pauline Mott, and Nancy Immitt; and his partner of ten years, Kimberly Dixon. He was preceded in death by his step-father William Orlowski.

Alex graduated from Ramapo College with a degree in Environmental Studies. For over 35 years he served as a civilian employee for the Department of Defense at Tobyhanna Army Depot and the PSCC. He traveled extensively to European Union countries, playing an active role in support of NATO programs. Never one to sit still, after retiring in 2021 Alex enjoyed bartending at Curran Brewery on Friday nights. He served as the vice-president of Lake Wallenpaupack Estates HOA and worked hard for the betterment of his community.

Alex was open, generous, and a friend to all he encountered. He could talk knowledgeably on a wide range of subjects and was a lover of history. He spent his free time outdoors- boating, walking, hunting, skiing, or just working in the yard. He built a network of loving friends who he'd connect with at a weekly Taco Night or team-up with in a recreational Volleyball league. He will be sorely missed.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 27 at 10AM at Saint Mary's Church in Lake Ariel with a private reception to follow. Friends and family are encouraged to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 1 at noon. The event will be held at his community's clubhouse, 104 Clubhouse Road, Greentown, PA 18426.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the CJD Foundation, an organization that supports those affected by prion diseases.
