Ann Marie Achey Konnick

Ann Marie Achey, Hamlin, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away May 21, 2022 in the Allied Skilled Nursing Facility due to natural causes.  She was the widow of Peter Elias Achey who passed away in 1984.

Born January 2, 1926 in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late George and Paline Konnick. Ann Marie was a graduate of Coughlin High School and had been self employed and a housewife. She had been a member of the St Mary’s Syrian Orthodox Church in Wilkes-Barre.

Surviving are her daughters Paula Ann Williams and her husband Daniel of Huntsville and Pamela Baldo and her husband David of Hamlin; grandchildren Michael, Zyrah, David, Victoria, Nicholas, Rebekah, Ramah and Peter; great grandchildren Jameson, Maddyn, Kaius, Kaeden and Rylan.

She was preceded in death by husband Peter Elias Achey and son Peter Joseph Achey.

Graveside services were held in the St Mary’s Antiochian Orthodox Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre.

Arrangements were entrusted to and are under the care and direction of the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel, PA.
