Ann Romaniello Reidenbach

October 23, 1933 — March 28, 2015

Ann Romaniello Reidenbach

Ann Romaniello of Lake Ariel went home to be with Jesus on Saturday at the Moses Taylor hospital.  She was surrounded by family and loving husband of sixty years, Paul Romaniello.

Ann, daughter of Gustave C. Reidenbach and his wife Rachel Ruth Kizer, was born in 1933, and spent her childhood in Maplewood and Cortez, Lake Ariel.  She moved to New Jersey during her teenage years, but moved back to Lake Ariel, where she met her husband Paul, originally from Peckville.

Early in their marriage, Ann worked as a seamstress.  Later on, Ann retired from Gertrude Hawks Chocolate where she made lasting friendships.

Ann was a cherished, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Her entire life was spent demonstrating love to family and friends.  As a young adult, she promised God that she would serve Him, and in turn, God promised that her entire household would learn to love God.  God kept His promise to Ann, and today her two sons, their wives, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren are committed to serving Christ, learning from Ann’s example.

Ann will be greatly missed.  Surviving Ann are two sons, James Romaniello of Lake Ariel and wife Sharon Avery, and Paul Romaniello Jr., also of Lake Ariel and wife Catherine Antidormi.  Ann has three married grandchildren: Jake Romaniello and wife Jessica Peterson, Michele Frazier and husband Nathan, and Christel Gillette and husband Thomas.  She is adored by six great-grandchildren: Elijah, Margaret Ann, Silas, Luca, Cora and Evangeline.
