Anne was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. She was a former member of the Immaculate Conception Altar and Rosary Society of Scranton and a former committee member of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the State Sports Hall of Fame. Anne and her husband, John, were active parishioners and in the late 1980's were instrumental in the transition of the former Chapel Church to the current Immaculate Conception Church. For many years, Anne volunteered monthly in the food pantry of the Immaculate Conception Church. She was an avid reader of fictional murder mysteries as well as biographies, and participated in the book club at Immaculate Conception Church.
Anne is survived by daughters Cathleen Lewis (Fred), of Chelmsford, MA; Carol McCormick of Scranton, PA; Anne Redlinger (Kurt) of San Diego, CA; and a son, Michael McCormick of Scranton, PA. She was the loving sister of Charles Carroll, Endwell, NY, and the late Gerard Carroll. Anne is most remembered by love for her family and the joy it brought her from visits and phone calls. She was especially proud of her eight grandchildren Kristi, Therese, Susan, Laura, Tara, Thomas, Mary, and Christopher; and her twelve great-grandchildren Carter, Lorenzo, Serafina, Maria, Patrick, Luke, Joseph, Addi, Laney, Oliver, Delaney, and Riley.
