Anthony J. Fonfara of Salem Twp. died Sunday at Commonwealth Hospice at Regional Hospital. His beloved wife is the former Laura D’Amato.
Born in Scranton, son of the late Frank and Rosemary Mazzuca Fonfara, he was employed by Home Depot in the Pittston Distribution Center and previously worked for Rise Construction. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider and collected die cast model cars. He enjoyed making homemade spaghetti sauce.
Also surviving are sisters Jane Wood of New Jersey and Rose White of Florida; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother Frank and a sister Donna Fonfara.
Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
