Anthony J. Padula

Anthony J. Padula of Jefferson Twp., died Wednesday at home following a brief illness.

Born in Scranton, son of Pearl Robinson of Jefferson Twp., and the late Patrick Padula, he had been employed by Maurer and Scott Explosives.

He was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR.

Surviving are a son Anthony, Jr. and his wife Jacqueline of Scranton; brothers Henry and his wife Kristine of Jefferson Twp., and Gerard and his wife Linda of Throop; sisters Mary Dolan and her husband Frank of Moscow and Patricia Cummings of Scranton; a granddaughter Daisy; a grandson Kameron; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers Patrick, John, and Walter.

Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.

Private, interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
