Audrey Mcandrew Moore

Audrey McAndrew, Scranton, passed away Wednesday afternoon at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton after an illness.

Born 1949 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Paul D. and Helen Moore and was a graduate of the Scranton schools. She was a woman of deep faith and was a member of the Hamlin Assembly of God Church. Before her retirement, she had been employed by the Western Wayne School District.

Surviving are her partner, Floyd D Merrit Sr.; daughter, Paula Powell and husband, Thomas Powell Sr.; sons, Chad McAndrew and partner, Kim Herne and Lance McAndrew Sr. and wife, Danielle; sister, Lorraine Davis; grandchildren, Samantha and Michael Wasylyniak, Thomas Powell Jr., Cody and Kiera Powell, Harley McAndrew, Destiny Mazzarino, Shauna, Sarah and Lance McAndrew Jr.; great-grandchildren, Willow and Winter Nichols and Axel Lent; niece, Julie Schweinsurg; and nephew, William Davis Jr.

She was also preceded in death by brother-in-law, William Davis Sr.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Road, Lake Ariel. Friends may call Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home. Interment, Hollisterville Cemetery.
