Barbara Hollister, 81, of Sterling Township, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, surrounded by her family. 

She was born on May 22, 1944, in Scranton, PA, to Clifford and Mary Jane Morgan, and attended North Pocono public schools. Barbara was a woman of deep faith who lived a life of grace and strength, and was a devoted member of the Jericho Independent church. Her husband of 62 years was Robert W. Hollister, who passed away in January of 2025.

Throughout her life, Barbara exemplified a spirit of resilience and dedication. As a driver, she contributed to the lives of many young people a bus driver for several organizations, including the Western Wayne School District.Surviving are daughters, Robin Foreman, and her husband Jeff and Esther Burge; son, Clifford Hollister and his wife, Melissa; son-in-law Nicholas Giles; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bobbie Jo Giles, as well as a great grandson Everest Foreman.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 28th at the First Baptist Church of Hollisterville, 23 Pond Road, Hollisterville at 12PM with services by Rev James Sheridan.

Friends may call Saturday morning from 11AM to time of service in the church.

As we gather to remember Barbara, let us carry forward the light of her memory and the lessons she taught us in love and faith. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever guide and inspire those she left behind.
