Betty Ann Yudiskas

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty Ann Yudiskas, who left this world peacefully on April 16, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on October 11, 1956, in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, Betty spent most of her life in Wayne County where her warmth and spirit brought joy to many.

Betty was a devoted mother to her beloved daughter, Maria Yudiskas, who was her greatest pride and joy. Their bond was one of unconditional love, and Betty’s face would light up whenever she spoke of Maria’s accomplishments. She was a true beacon of support in Maria’s life, nurturing her with kindness and affection.

Betty loved to laugh and was skilled at bringing laughter to those around her. Whether she was enjoying a day in the sun while tending to her garden, taking trips to the ocean or sharing stories with friends at Cove Haven Resort, where she worked for many years, Betty’s joyful spirit was contagious, and she formed lasting friendships throughout her career.

Betty’s impact on the lives she touched will not be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her, as her laughter and warmth will live on in their memories. Though she has departed from this world, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved her.

In addition to her daughter Maria, Betty is survived by her twin sister Mary, and brother Paul.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Lester and Ruth Wagner Mott and her sister Alice Mott.

Abiding by Betty’s wishes, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Rest in peace, dear Betty. You were a shining light, and your legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire those you leave behind.
