Beverly Gregory

Beverly Gregory, 83, of Honesdale, died July 2 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center. Her husband was the late Pete Gregory, Sr who died December 8, 1997. They were married November 3, 1956.

Born in Bidwell Hill, she was the daughter of the late Ethel and Clay Mickel. Her birth father was the late Albert Snyder. She graduated from Lake Consolidated School Class of 1956 and was a member of the Tabernacle Bible Church in Honesdale.

Beverly worked as a seamstress for local garment businesses and owned Beverly’s Cake Decorating, selling supplies and teaching her craft.

Surviving are her sons Pete Gregory, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Honesdale, and Russ Gregory and his wife Wanda of McDonough, Georgia; a brother Don Mickel of Hamlin and a nephew, Don Mickel, Jr. of Clarks Summit.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Ellen Memorial, especially the Blue Unit, for their compassionate and dedicated care.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 16 at 11:00am at the Tabernacle Bible Church, 455 Grove St, Honesdale, Pa with services by Pastor John Banks.

Visitation is from 9:00am until the time of service at the church with Interment at Indian Orchard Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
