Catherine "Kitty" Corvino

Catherine "Kitty' Corvino, beloved wife, mother, nana, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025 at the age of 89. Born on January 5, 1936 to Mateo and Rose Trocone-Inzerillo in Brooklyn, NY, Kitty lived a remarkable life marked with love and devotion.

Catherine served professionally as a manager with the U.S. Postal Service for most of her career, where she worked tirelessly and with great pride.

She was a nurturing presence in the lives of her children: Peter and his wife Karen, Arthur and his late wife Ann Marie, John and his wife Maryna, Susan Mauro and her husband Peter; her 9 grandchildren; her 8 great-grandchildren; her nieces and nephews- always offering guidance, wisdom, and unconditional love. Catherine's caring nature extended to her sister, Mary who cherished their special bond.

Catherine's legacy lives on through her family, who will remember her as a pillar of strength and support especially by her grandchildren, who brought light and happiness into her life, along with her great-grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart.

A private cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel, PA.

In celebration of her life and faith, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas More Church, Lake Ariel on Friday, September 5 at 10AM, the Reverend Stephen Basomafi, celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Ledgedale.

Because there will be no public visitation, friends and family are asked to gather at the church for the start of Mass.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends are encouraged to make a memorial contribution in Kitty's honor either to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital, or a charity of the donor's choice.
