Charles "Chip" F. Enslin, 64, of South Canaan, passed away Sunday evening at Wayne Woodlands Manor, Waymart, following an illness. His companion of 18 years is Linda Klim.
Born in Scranton, Pa, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Barbara M. Gordon - Enslin. He was a graduate of Western Wayne High School Class of 1980. Prior to his illness, Chip was a machine operator at Space Age Plastics in Jefferson Twp. Chip was an avid gardener, hunter, and fisherman.
Surviving are his sisters Martha Dymond and her husband Ralph of Napanoch, NY, and Ruth Enslin-Johnson and her husband Albert of S. Canaan; sister-in-law Cindy Nichols of Drums; niece Barbara Rose and her husband Keith; nephews Thomas Dymond and his wife Jessica, and Joshua Nichols; great nephews Justin Rose and his wife Lera, Anthony Dymond, and Jake Dymond; great-great niece Elise Rose; great-great nephew Nash Rose. He was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth "Butch" Nichols.
We would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Abington Manor, Clarks Summit and to the staff at Wayne Woodlands Manor, Waymart.
Funeral services will be private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
Cremation took place at the Lake Region Crematory in the James Wilson Funeral Home.
