Charles O. Jopp

Charles O. Jopp, 78, the Hideout, Lake Ariel, died Thursday at Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit after an illness. His wife of 54 years is the former Marilyn Welter Jopp.

Born September 4, 1938 in Teaneck, NJ., he was the son of the late Charles O. and Mary Feehan Jopp. Prior to retirement he had been employed in the Computer Software Sales Industry, was also the owner and operator of an Alfa Romeo dealership.

Graduated from Dumont High School and Wagner College where he was inducted into the football Hall of Fame for both schools. He was a big lover of sports.

Surviving are daughter Tracey Listro and her husband Tony of Montvale, NJ; a son Brian Jopp and his wife Heather of Pleasant Mount, PA; grandchildren Kaitlin, Ryan, Haley, Rebecca, Veronica, Bryanne, and Madison; a brother Donald Jopp and his wife Bonnie of Taylor, PA; nieces and nephews

Cremation took place at the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Decemeber 2, 2016 at 11:00am in the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel, Pa 18436
