Charles H. Parmelee

Charles H. Parmelee of WLE, Lake Ariel died Wednesday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital following an illness. His wife of 57 years is the former Marianne Rochford.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Harold B. and S. Loretta Kiernan Parmelee, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II.

Also surviving are daughters Theresa Parmelee of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Veronica Philip and her husband Charles of Sparta, NJ; sons Charles J. Parmelee and his wife Doreen of Hawley and Matthew Parmelee and his wife Carrie of Newton, NJ; grandchildren Sabrina, Jennifer, Corey, Trevor, Kyle, Connor, and Caeley; great-grandchildren Brandon, Falon and Raelynn; a sister-in-law Diane Toomey; several nieces and nephews.

A Blessing Service will be held Monday at 11:00am in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.

Friends may call Sunday from 2:00-5:00pm.

Cremation will follow the Blessing Service in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
