Charles A. Trimmer, Jr.

Charles Albert "Chuck" Trimmer, 76, of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania passed away on October 30th 2025. He was born in East Berlin on November 28, 1948 to Charles A. Trimmer Sr, and Mabel I. Bucher-Trimmer.

He was raised on a farm which was later sold to build the Community of Lake Meade. The family then moved to Kralltown and he continued school at Bermudian Springs High school. Funny enough one of his first jobs after school was working for the company that did the demolition and started construction on Lake Meade. Although there were other jobs, he was most known for being an automotive mechanic. He opened Trimmer’s Garage in 1983, where he continued to work with his son until the fall of 2011.

He was a man who could fix anything and come up with some off the wall ideas. They might not have always been pretty, but they always worked! Charles was a member of the Monaghan Township and Franklintown Borough volunteer Fire Departments. He was also an avid ATV’r. He spent many weekends traveling throughout Pennsylvania and nearby states riding his Polaris ATV’s.Charles was proceeded in death by his parents, and is survived by his three sisters, Joanne Lineman, Norma McCartney, Mary Miller and a brother Dave Trimmer, his two children, Amy Murtoff and Mark Trimmer, their spouses, Jeff Murtoff and Melissa Trimmer and 5 grandchildren, JT ,Cole, Graham, Wade and Kevin.

A memorial service will be held Saturday November 22nd, 2025 at Mt Pleasant Church of God, 146 S York Rd, Dillsburg, Pennsylvania at 1 o’clock in the afternoon.
