Cody Lamberton

Cody Lamberton, 30, of Lake Ariel, passed away at Geisinger Community Medical Center on January 12, 2025 after an illness.  Born May 9, 1994 in Scranton, he was the son of Jeffrey Allen Lamberton and Holly Kristine Lane and was a graduate of Western Wayne High School.  In 2019, he married the love of his life Makayla (Beavers) Lamberton and together were raising his pride and joy- their daughter, Scarlett.

In addition to spending time with his wife and daughter, Cody found great joy in the great outdoors hunting and fishing.  It was at his favorite fishing spot, Makayla’s stepdad’s pond, that the couple was married.

Cody is also survived by two sisters Bridget and Debra Lamberton; stepmother Julie Lamberton; parents-in-law Shannon McHugh-Hall, Chris Hall, and Paul and Heather Beavers; 5 brothers-in-law, and a sister-in-law; paternal grandmother Janet Lamberton, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cody was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.

He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

Private cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory.

A celebration of Cody’s life will take place on Saturday, January 25 at the James-Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel at 12:00 Noon, pastor Bill Schneider of Faith Baptist Fellowship Church presiding.

Friends may call from 10AM until the start of the service.

Inurnment will take place at East Canaan Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Private cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory.
