Colleen Stevens

Colleen Dawn Stevens, 40, of Scranton, PA, died March 17, 2023 at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia after an illness.

Born May 30, 1982, she was the daughter of Margaret (Winwood) Stevens and the late Burton Stevens.  Colleen was a graduate of Wallenpaupack Area High School and received an associate degree from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY prior to pursuing her career as a pastry chef.

Colleen was loved by all she met.

Surviving is her mother, Margaret Stevens; Sisters Elizabeth Burger and husband Chris, Michelle Stevens-Standford and husband Jerry, Dawn Stevens, Victoria Stevens, Ellen Kavalkovich and husband Ron; Brothers Jason Stevens and wife Crista, and David Stevens; Nieces Chess, Abbi, Ericka, Sophia, McKenna, Rylee, Callie, and Maxima; Aunts and Uncle Carol Winwood and Susan and Ted Zak.  Colleen was preceded in death by her father, and her nephew Connor.

A private cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel, and interment of ashes will take place at Saint Mary Cemetery, Ledgedale at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Colleen’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.
