David H. "Doobie" Cook, Sr.

David H. "Doobie" Cook, Sr., 72, of Lake Ariel, passed away on October 22, 2025 at Wayne Memorial Hospital after an illness.

Born April 16, 1953 to Harold Cook and Florence Cook (Nee Axworthy,) he was educated at Lake Consolidated School and was a mechanic for Doug Black's Garage.

David is survived by his children David H. Cook, Jr. and his wife Lisa, Shelly Quinn and her significant other Max; grandchildren Peyton, Ashton, Zachary, Wade and Octavia; Nieces Erika and Alicia, a Nephew Aaron; a brother Kevin and his wife Sharon.

David was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. His best memories were made spending time with his family and friends.  We honor and remember a man whose life was marked by dedication, warmth, and a genuine love for those around him. In our hearts, he will forever remain a guiding light.

Per David's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A celebration of life will be organized at a future date.
