David Friedman

David Wakefield Friedman, 79, of Lake Ariel, PA, passed away Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart.

Born in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Hyman Harry and Mildred Wakefield Friedman.

Dave was a graduate of Lehigh University, a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, and, after working and travelling for H.B Fuller Chemicals, ended his professional career working for the local office of the Museum of Modern Art in Hamlin, PA. He was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous with over 25 years sobriety, had a deep love and appreciation of history, trains, and sailing, and was also active in his church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Friedman, daughters, Jennifer Friedman and her husband Kevin Woodward, Wendy Friedman and her husband Scott Williams, stepchildren Wendy Griffin and her husband Eric Griffin, and Edward Savoy; grandchild Gibson Friedman and Oliver Williams, and step grandchildren Genevieve, Liam, Lyra, and Nessa Griffin.

The family requests no flowers be sent, as it will be a private service.
