David A. Strong

David A. Strong, 68 of Simpson, passed away Friday afternoon following an illness.

Born in Harpursville, NY, he was the son of the late Alton and Vivian Houck – Strong. He was a graduate of Harpursville High School. Prior to his illness, he was a machinist. He was a United States Army Veteran.

David was a devoted father and grandfather; he was the happiest with his daughter and grandchildren by his side. David enjoyed playing his computer game where he met a lot of great people, people he considered friends. David enjoyed being outdoors camping, cooking out, and having a beer or two with family and friends. David was a U.S Army veteran that is something he took great pride in. David did a lot of good in this world and touched many hearts he will truly be missed.

Surviving are his daughter Jamie Strong and her husband Shane of Simpson; a sister Sharon Robinson of NY; a brother Kenneth Strong of NY; grandchildren Kadin, Gavin, Lauryn “Pook”, Connor, and Madison; a nephew Keith Becraft of NY; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Culver and a brother Wayne Strong.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
