Dorothy M Alt Moon

Dorothy M. Alt, 101, of Moscow, died Thursday morning at home. Her husband was the late Maxwell E. Alt who died in 1983.

Born in Niagra Falls, NY, daughter of the late George D. and Katie Brown Moon, she was a member of the 1932 graduating class of Lake Ariel High School.

Surviving are daughters Imogene Knoll and her husband Lawrence Hartpence  of Moscow and Frances Gearhart and her husband David of Madisonville; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by daughters Sally Ross, Isabella Chesik, and Lavilla Alt.

Graveside Services will be Saturday at 1:00pm in the Madisonville Union Cemetery, Route 690 Madisonville, Pa
