E. Jean Felton

E. Jean Felton, 96, of Newfoundland and formerly of Hatfield, PA., died on Saturday, April 13 th in
Wayne Woodlands Manor, Waymart, following an illness. Her husband, Charles “Bud” Felton
passed away in 2006.
Born in Norristown, PA., she was the daughter of the late Harold and Vara Graham – Booth. She
was a graduate of Lansdale High School. Prior to retirement, she worked at Penn Elastic Co., in
West Point, PA.
Known to all as Granny, she enjoyed reading, playing Rummy, and watching TV, especially
game shows, The Lone Ranger, baseball, and Nascar. Her fondest memories were of the times
spent taking care of Chewy and being with her family. Granny spent summers gardening and at
Lake Wallenpaupack, boating, sitting on the beach, and playing croquet with her grandkids. She
was an avid baker of chocolate chip and Christmas cookies.
Surviving are her daughters Karen Osecki of Newfoundland and Sandra Dillon and her husband
Jim of Hatfield, PA.; grandchildren Rebecca Garing and her husband Shawn, Megan Schofield,
Luke Dillon and his wife Abby, Stefan Osecki and his wife Danita, and Jordan Osecki and his
wife Tracey; great grandchildren Tyler and Logan Garing, Emma and Owen Schofield, Brinley
and Blakely Dillon, Molly and Joel Osecki; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law Michael Osecki; sisters Doris Dougherty and
Janice Landes; and her beloved 4-legged best – friend Chewy.
Private cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson
Funeral Home.
