Earle H. Fairclough

Earle H. Fairclough, Jr., 72 of Cortez, passed away on Thursday at Regional Hospital of Scranton following an illness.

Born in Pittston, Pa, he was the son of the late Earle H. Fairclough, Sr. and Frieda Kline – Fairclough. Prior to retirement, he owned and operated Cortez Garage for 30 years. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Thomas A. Snook VFW Post 6520 in Cortez.

He was a loving and caring husband and father. He enjoyed life and traveling. He had a heart of gold.

Surviving are daughters Tammy Prebish of Hamlin, Missy Eckerman and her companion James Thoma of Wapwallopen, Regina Lucke of NY, and Lashawn Lucke of Moscow; a son Charles Lucke and his companion Jessica Reese of Scranton; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.

Per Earle’s wishes, Funeral Services will be private and at the convenice of the family.

Private cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
