Edith Ruth Alt, 99, of Madisonville, died Sunday at Allied Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an illness. Her husband was the late Howard L. Alt, Sr.

Born in Beaver Falls, Pa, daughter of the late William and Ethel Moon Clausson. Prior to retirement she a seamstrees at Ritas sportswear in Moscow.

Surviving are sons Zack Alt and his wife Kelly Ann, Jay Alt both of Madisonville; sisters Kate Wirsing of NC and Delores Ryan of Philadelphia; brothers Glenn Clausson of Throop, and Howard Clausson of Washington, DC; grandchildren Shane Alt and his wife Gina, Jesse Alt and his wife Jen, Alyssa Alt and her fiancé Darrin James; great-grandchildren Nikolas, Amelia, Ava, Isaac, Jayden, Kiaya, and Logan; several nieces and nephews.

Cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory
