Edward Joseph Heim, Jr.

Edward Joseph Heim, Jr. Lake Ariel, formerly of Lynbrook, Long Island New York, passed away Friday in the Geisinger community medical center Scranton with his wife by his side. His wife is the former Maryellen “Mary” O’Connor.

Born 1951 on Long Island, New York, Ed was the son of the late Edward Joseph Heim, Sr and Marjorie Heim.

At an early age Ed learned the value of hard work. He carried that through his life working extremely hard and sacrificing for his family. He continued to work until his illness stopped him from doing so. He would drive three days a week to Long Island to work in the automotive industry.

He loved cars and Corvettes, but he especially loved animals and he would care for them with his heart and soul.

Also surviving our Ed son, Edward “EJ” III; his sister, Connie Perazzo; brother-in-law, John O’Connor, and his wife, Donna; and nephew, Aidan; his beloved Peanut and cats

He was also preceded in death by brother, David
