Eileen M. Lee

Eileen M. Lee (65) of Lake Ariel passed away on December 10, 2023 at Julia Ribaudo Nursing Home, Lake Ariel, after a lengthy illness.  Born December 28, 1957 in Brooklyn, NY, she was daughter of the late James Telesco and the former Gretta McLean.  Eileen was educated in NY public schools, and in Administrative Certificate programs in the state of NY.

During her life, she was employed by the Borough of Queens as administrative assistant to the borough president in connection with the Psychiatric Hospital in Jamaica, Queens.  After relocating to Pennsylvania, Eileen held many positions including Bank Teller, Bus Driver, and Home Health Aide.  At the end of her career, she worked for The Warm Line, as a compassionate and understanding ear for those who were down and out.

Surviving is Eileen’s beloved daughter, Chelsea Lee; sisters Tricia, Bernadette and her husband Frank, Denise; brothers Jimmy and Tommy; numerous nieces and nephews.

Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Artie Lee in 1999, and by a brother-in-law, Denise’s husband John.

A private cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

A Funeral Mass to celebrate Eileen’s life will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 334 St Mary’s Church Road, Ledgedale, on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 11AM.  Friends and family attending the Mass are asked to report directly to the church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
