Elaine M. Ullner Dougherty

Elaine M. Ullner of Salem Twp., died Tuesday at Regional Hospital of Scranton following an illness. Her husband of 45 years is Albert Ullner.

Born in Scranton she was the daughter of the late James “Doc” and Cecilia Flaherty Dougherty.

She was a Little League Coach for her son in Lake Ariel. She liked to garden, shop, cook, and bake. Prior to retirement she worked for Howe’s Convenient Store and Dayko’s Market. She loved watching her grandchild every day.

Also surviving are a daughter Laurie Gregory and her husband Russell and a son Paul A. and his wife Johnine all of Lake Ariel; brothers Paul Dougherty and his wife Alicia of Dunmore and Robert Dougherty and his wife Maryann of Delaware; a granddaughter Avery B. Ullner of Lake Ariel; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother James “Doc” Dougherty and a sister Lucille Noll.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 12:30pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.

Friends may call Friday from 10:30am-12:30pm.

Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
