Emily Frisbie, 83, of Lake Ariel, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at home. Her husband Charles D. Frisbie died in 2006.
Born March 17, 1937 in Wimmers, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Margerie Bartleson Wood. She attended the Jefferson Township High School and graduated from the Lake Consolidated School. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Scranton Cigar Company. She was a faithful member of the Avoy Christian Church.
She is survived by her brother Edward Wood and his wife Elouise of Jefferson Twp.; two special nephews Ross Frisbie and his wife Carol of Eynon and Michael Jones and his wife Kyleen of Moscow; nieces and nephews; sister-in-laws Ruth Masker and Joyce Frisbie; and brother-in-law Robert Frisbie and his wife Linda.
She was preceded in death by sisters Margerie Mignery and Elnora Lohrey; brothers Stanley and George Wood.
Due to the current health crisis, graveside services at Hollisterville Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
