Florence M. Greitz Winter

Florence M. Greitz of Jefferson Twp., died Sunday morning at Mid-Valley Health Care Center following an illness. Her husband of 71 years is William R. Greitz.

Born in the Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Robert R. and Florence M. Wissel Winter, she had worked as a bookkeeper for a tobacco company prior to her retirement.

She enjoyed cooking and baking and taking care of her husband. She was very family oriented.

Also surviving are a daughter Gloria Schwab and her husband John of Covington, PA; a son Douglas Greitz of West River, MD; sisters Irene Carn of Washington and Barbara Butt of Alaska; grandchildren Alex Greitz and Kevin Maloney; great-grandchildren Kyler and Kamden Maloney; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother Robert Winter.

A Blessing Service will be held Wednesday at 12:00 Noon in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.

Friends may call Wednesday from 10:30am to 12:00 Noon.

Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
