Obituary

Foster John McCoy, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away surrounded by family on June 24, 2026. He was 69 years old.

Born on August 4, 1956, and raised by Foster Thomas McCoy and Mary Elizabeth McCoy in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, Foster grew up with a quiet strength and warmth that would define him throughout his life. He later made his home in New Providence, New Jersey, before settling in Lackawaxen, Pennsylvania, at Masthope, a community he not only lived in, but genuinely loved and served.

Foster built a distinguished career in private wealth management, earning the deep trust and loyalty of his clients over decades. To them, he was more than an advisor. He was a steady, dependable presence they could count on. That same spirit of service extended to his community, where he served on the board of the Masthope Mountain Community and became a cherished figure among his neighbors.

But the truest measure of Foster was found in the people who loved him. He was warm, gentle, and unfailingly kind, a man who treated everyone he met with genuine respect. He was also, at heart, a child who never lost his sense of wonder and play. He was a man of few words, and perhaps that's what made them matter so much. When Foster spoke, you listened. When he made you laugh, you felt it. And when he showed you love, you carried it with you.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; his children, Kevin, Brian, Mary, and Kathleen; and his grandchildren, Riley, Rory, Mila, Robyn, and Jack, who will carry his quiet light forward.

Foster John McCoy was a great man. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
