Frank Haughey, 72, formerly of New Holland Pennsylvania, passed away into the loving arms of his Savior on Wednesday December 27th following a brief illness and after battling dementia since late 2017. He was a resident at The Gardens in Tunkhannock Pennsylvania since 2019.
Frank was the son of the late Francisco Perlito and Dorothy Schingan. He was born in 1951 in Philadelphia but lived much of his life in Lancaster PA with his wife of 43 years Deborah (Baker) Haughey and his two children, son Richard who preceded him in death and daughter Elizabeth (Haughey) Edmondson married to Ronie Edmondson. Frank will be remembered as a “jack of all trades” and for the delicious food he made and loved to share with others.
Also surviving him are his grand children Kayson (Lacey) Haughey, Aiden Haughey, Levi Edmondson and Eliana Edmondson, as well as his grand baby Edmondson due in a few short weeks.
A memorial service will be held Saturday April 27, 2023 at 11:00 in the First Baptist Church of Hawley 315 Bishop Ave. Hawley, PA 18428 with Rev. Daniel Baker, brother in law, officiating.
