Frank Paul Laki

Frank Paul Laki, 72, of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania, entered into God’s kingdom to meet with his brother Eric and daughter Denise on September, 26th 2023. He was born in Manhattan, New York on May 18, 1951.

Frank, the outspoken and devoted husband, father, uncle, and grandfather is survived by his wife, Josephine; sons, Karl and Matthew; Daughter in-law Kristen; Granddaughter Kalea; Grandsons, Ryan, Josh and Billy; Nephew Brandon and his sidekick, Domino the Cat.

Upon graduation from Drafting School, Frank joined the Army to serve his country. Upon leaving the military and further returning back home to New York, Frank met the love of his life, Josephine who would stand by his side through thick and thin for 44 years. They had two children Karl and Matthew, in Queens, New York and eventually settled in the Poconos.

Frank had a unique personality and attitude as he usually told it like it was without a filter. He was not afraid to get his hands dirty, worked hard, conducted repairs himself and was never wasteful. He was a teacher that taught hard life lessons that are more valuable than tools themselves.

Frank loved watching Yankee games, and was a Miami Dolphins fan, sometimes while enjoying a nice neat glass of bourbon or maybe just a coffee. He was a worthy Pac Man opponent, Loved Star Wars, Wrestling, and Fleetwood Mac.

Frank was truly a great man whose impact will be forever felt by his family, who loves him dearly. He was a man whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones. His hard attitude, dry humor and tough love will never be forgotten, and will always be appreciated by all.
