Gail Sue Snuggs George

Gail “Sue” Snuggs, 70, of Lake Ariel, died Wednesday evening, September 6, 2017 at Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center following a lengthy illness.

Born in Westernport, MD., daughter of the late Norris and Olive Mckenzie George.  Prior to her illness she was a successful Real Estate Agent for over 25 years, for Davis R. Chant of Hamlin.  In her early years, Sue coached gymnastics and was an avid tennis player.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, vacationing in Maryland and fishing with her daughters, going as far as jumping into the water to catch a broken line and bobber so they wouldn’t lose their catch.  She was loved by many.

Surviving are daughters Cindy Snuggs and her companion David Doeing of Lake Ariel, and Amie Wargo and her husband Leonard of Lake Ariel; a brother Wayne George and his wife MaryAnn of Maryland;  5 grandchildren: Kaycee Snuggs, Landon, Adysen, Rheagan, and Aerringtyn Wargo; a great granddaughter; Kennadeigh Sabatino and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center for the exceptional care that was given to our Mother.

Interment, Oak Lawn Cemetery, Maryland.
