Gerald "Jerry" C. Case

Gerald C. “Jerry” Case, 78 of Carbondale and formerly of Lake Ariel, passed away Monday afternoon at Allied Hospice Center with his loving and dedicated daughter Terry by his side.

Born in Lake Ariel, he was the son of the late George and Mabel Kizer – Case. Prior to retirement, he was a self-employed landscaper. Jerry was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed life to the fullest until his illness.

Surviving are daughters Terry Case – Garofolo of Jefferson Twp., Carmella Buglino of Honesdale, and Kelsey Case of Carbondale; sons Gerald C. Case, Jr. of Honesdale and Gerald Case of Carbondale; sisters Alice Alunni of Jefferson Twp. and Lillian Phillips of Carbondale; brother George Case of Maryland; grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Florence Cyganick , brothers Milford Case and Millard Case and a niece Theresa Lloyd.

Friends may call on Thursday, January 13 from 4 – 7pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.
