Harry "Hawk" Fedoryk passed away at his home in Florida on July 11, 2026.
Born on September 25, 1944, in Freeport, New York, he was the son of the late Michael Fedoryk and Mary Keravich Troc and was also raised by his stepfather, John Troc. Harry was educated in the New York school system before serving honorably in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
During his military service, he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with Combat Action Ribbon, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm, and the Navy Unit Citation Ribbon. Following his military service, Harry worked as a steamfitter and later became a respected Shop Foreman with the Steamfitters Union Local 638.
Harry lived by the motto, "Work hard, play hard." His passion for Corvettes began at age 17, when he purchased his first 1956 Corvette from his brother, Ronnie, one week after graduating high school. Over the years, he owned many Corvettes and leaves behind two Vettes to be passed down for many generations to come. He also enjoyed drag racing with his son, car shows where he received over 250 trophies, and it was rare for him to miss a New York Yankees game. He enjoyed spending time with friends over a cold beer with ice and a good conversation.
Harry is survived by his son, Craig Fedoryk and his wife, Heather, and their children, Remmy and Frankie Rose; his daughter, Kimberly Lopresti and her husband, Anthony, and their daughters, Lauren and Sabrina; and his sister, Annie Vogelpohl.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Ronnie Fedoryk and Bill Fedoryk; and his sister, Dolores.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 31, at the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Road, Lake Ariel. Friends and family may call from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:00 p.m.
Military honors will be rendered by the United States Marine Corps Honor Guard following the service.
Interment will be held at a later date at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
Harry was an avid supporter of charitable organizations throughout his life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Harry's name, to a local charity or organization that helps those in need, continuing Harry's legacy of giving to those who help others.
