Cameron Tighe-Schenk, 24, of Mount Cobb, PA, passed away suddenly on March 26, 2026.
Cameron had a great heart and was someone who truly enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved working on vehicles in his garage, spending time with his friends, and, most of all, being with his son, Levi, who meant everything to him. Cameron worked in various trades throughout the years and was recently working as a handyman, taking pride in his work.
He is survived by his loving mother, Margaret Ann Tighe-Wheeler; his father, Harold John Schenk; his son, Levi Schenk; his companion, Lacey Walsh; and his grandmother, Geraldine Kovaleski. He is also survived by his siblings, Ryan-Anne Butler (fiancé, Joe Trego), Eric Butler (wife, Courtney), and Caitlin Wheeler. Cameron will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews, Zander, David, Kayla, Willow, Gabri-Anne, and Cashlin, as well as many extended family members and close friends, including his school friends from Old Forge.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Ashley Maureen Wheeler, and his grandparents.
Family and friends may gather on Monday, March 30, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at The Hens Nest, 241 Lake Spangenberg Road, Jefferson Township. A dinner will follow to continue sharing memories and celebrating Cameron's life.
In the words of his mother: "I lost my sonshine, my heart and soul. The world lost one of the most exceptional young men. He will be so dearly missed by all his friends and family, especially his son, Levi. He had so many friends and family who loved him, especially Lacey and their baby boy, Levi. Keep the faith. We will see all our loved ones again. Father God in Heaven above, I ask that you hold us all in the palm of your hand until we meet again, when Earth becomes the perfect paradise. Love, Mom."
Cameron will be remembered for his kind heart, his love for his family, and the memories he created with those who knew him. Forever loved and never forgotten.
Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of the James H. Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel. To offer condolences or to leave a memory of Cameron, please visit www.jamesfamilyfunerals.com.
