James P. MacLean, 81, of Hamlin, PA, died Tuesday evening at the Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center following a years long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Born in Paterson, NJ, son of the late Albert and Olive (Pordon) MacLean, he worked as a field collector for Public Service Electric & Gas in New Jersey as well serving as a Corporal for the Haledon Police Department Specials Division.
Surviving him, are his wife of 56 years, Carol Ann (Marsh) MacLean; his daughters Beth Ann Pagano and her husband Daniel of Kresgeville, PA and Kimberly Ann Gill and husband Thomas of Williamsburg, VA; a brother Edward MacLean of Roundup, MT; a granddaughter Kristen Gill of Williamsburg, VA; grandsons Daniel Pagano, Jr. of Somerville, NJ, and Christopher Pagano of St. Petersburg, FL; and his Mother-In-Law, Sarah Marsh of Hamlin, PA. He was preceded in death by a grandson Dylan Pagano; a brother Al MacLean; sisters Olive “Scottie” Kroegman and June Miller.
Friends will be welcomed this Saturday, November 19, from 11:00am – 2:00 pm at the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel, Pa 18436.
A blessing service will be held at 1:00pm.
A private Cremation will follow in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
