James J. Mostowski

James J. Mostowski, Jr., 48, Carbondale, died early Wednesday morning after being stricken ill at home.

Born in Carbondale, he was the son of Laura Bronson Mostowski and her fiancé Lou Darvalics of South Canaan and the late James J. Mostowski, Sr. who died in 2007.  He was a 1994 graduate of Western Wayne High School and had been employed as a home framer in the building trade.

Jim was an avid gamer, enjoying playing video games and he loved the New York Football Giants.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Also surviving are his children James J. Mostowski, III of Carbondale, Colin J. Mostowski of Lords Valley, Vincent Voglino and Scarlett Mostowski both of Carbondale; his sister Cheryl Ann Dinning of  South Canaan; two nephews Jacob Mostowski and Mason Dinning; a niece Alyssa Dinning;  great nephews Jacob and Luca Mostowski;  great niece Serenity Mostowski;  aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.

Friends may call Monday from 4-7pm.

Interment, Simon Cemetery.
