Jeffrey W. Loscig

Jeffrey W. Loscig, 57, of Lake Ariel, died peacefully Monday morning at home, surrounded by family, following an illness. His loving wife of 35 years is the former Linda Williams. 

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Gerald and Joan (Swingle) Loscig. He was a graduate of Western Wayne High School Class of 1987 before continuing his education in Business Administration at Northeastern Institute of Education. Employed at Vector Security for 37 years, he served as General Manager of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Branch for the last six years.

Happiest spending time with his family, he especially cherished vacations to Walt Disney World. He was a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and enjoyed fishing on any lake and watching birds gather at his feeders. 

Also surviving are his daughters Katelynn Loscig-Ragugini and her husband Jesse Ragugini of Pittston and Lauren Loscig of Lake Ariel; his sister Renee (Loscig) Murphy and her husband James of South Canaan; mother-in-law Rosalind Williams of Lake Ariel; sister-in-law Cathy Lewis and her husband Josh of Lake Ariel; grandchildren Juliet Ragugini and expected baby brother; several nieces and nephews.

 A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 14th at 11:00AM in the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel. 

Friends may call on Wednesday, May 13th from 4:00PM - 7:00PM at the Funeral Home. 

Interment, East Canaan Cemetery, South Canaan.
