It is with deep love and profound sadness that we share the passing of a remarkable woman who touched every life she encountered with kindness, beauty, and grace. Jennifer Ann Richards, 49, of Covington Township, left this world surrounded by her family and took her place in Heaven on October 10th, 2025. Jen was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, niece, and friend, and she lived her life as a shining example of selflessness and unconditional love.
Her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment were her five sons. They were her world, and she was their biggest cheerleader; never missing a game, a school night, or any activity that mattered to them. She led by example in showing them the meaning of devotion, sacrifice, and love that knew no bounds. She will be remembered first as the most amazing mother, and next as a woman of kindness, intelligence, and beauty. Jen always put others before herself and gave without hesitation. Her presence was a constant reminder of what true goodness looks like. To her family, friends, and community, she was a bright light who inspired everyone around her.
Though Heaven has gained a radiant soul, the world has lost a gentle spirit whose absence will be felt deeply by all who knew her. Jen's legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness lives on in her boys and the countless lives she touched.
A graduate of Western Wayne High School, she is the daughter of Jerry and Ann Krombel Peet of Lake Ariel. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons, Freddy, Exeter; Connor, Philadelphia; Kevin, Logan and Mason, all at home; Big Sister Michelle, Brisbane, Australia; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Sorab Gupta, Dr. Lauren Nicholls, Dr. Nihaal Karnik, and Dr. Kishore Kumar for their devoted and passionate care throughout her journey with Cholangiocarcinoma.
Services will be at the James H. Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Road, Lake Ariel on Sunday, October 19th, 2025 at 2pm, with Pastor Kelly Groves officiating.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 12pm to 2pm, with a celebration of life taking place at R Place on 590 at 3pm.
To honor Jen, please bless someone today and every day with an act of kindness.
