It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan Raniello, a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, caring sister, and a dear friend to many. Joan left this world peacefully on October 28, 2025, at the age of 82. 

Born on December 28, 1942, in Hamilton, Ohio, Joan brought warmth and kindness wherever she went, ultimately settling in Nicholson, Pennsylvania, where she spent many joyful years creating a loving home and a welcoming environment for her family and friends. 

Joan was an avid bowler, loved to garden, and loved dogs.Joan's life was a testament to the values of love, compassion, and resilience. As a dedicated homemaker, she poured her heart into nurturing her family, providing unwavering support and encouragement to her beloved husband, Frank Raniello, and their children. She took immense pride in her role as a mother to her children, Charlene Kline and Frankie Raniello. Joan was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren: Stephen Evans Jr., Sarah Clancey, Emily Kline, Catie Raniello, Christopher Raniello, Julieanna Raniello, and her great-grandsons, Caleb Nolder Jr., Chase Newcomer, and Landon Newcomer. 

Joan's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Joan is survived by her loving husband Frank L. Raniello;  her beloved daughter Charlene Kline and son-in-law Jason Kline; her loving brother Wayne Muir ; sister-in-law, Vicki Muir; and a host of nieces and nephews; Erik , Kimberly, Brandon, Samantha,  Jimmy, Amy, Elizabeth, Michelle, William, Stephanie, Colleen, Jaclyn, and Tom; She is also mourned by her brother-in-laws, James Raniello, and William Raniello, and sister-in-law, Donna Toole. 

The family finds comfort in the cherished memories they created together and the profound impact she had on their lives.

Joan was preceded in death by: her parents Wilfred and Joan Muir, in-laws Frank R. and Josephine Raniello and her beloved son Frankie Raniello.

Joan Raniello will be remembered not only for the love she gave to her family and friends, but also for the light she brought into the world. May she rest in peace, forever held in the hearts of those she touched.

There will be no services per Joan's wishes.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Joan's memory to a local ASPCA/animal shelter as a reflection of her generous spirit and commitment to helping others.
