Joann Zelenski

Joann Zelenski, 53, of Hawley, passed away Monday morning at Geisinger Community Medical Center following an illness.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Johanna Piraino Zelenski. She was educated in the Dunmore School District.

Joann enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are a daughter Paige O’Hara and her husband Dave of Jefferson Twp.; a grandson Tripp O’Hara; sisters Ann Marie Zelenski and her partner Sue Renfer of Jefferson Twp., Beatrice Rosengrant and her husband Jeff of Lake Ariel, and Rose Zelenski of Dunmore; brothers Butch Zelenski and his wife Lori of Dunmore and Mike Zelenski of Dunmore; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
