John Graziano

John Graziano, Lake Ariel, formerly of Dunmore, passed away Sunday morning in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, after an illness. His wife of 46 years is the former Alice Fadden
Born 1948 in Scranton, he was the son of the late John Joseph and Angela Summa Graziano of Dunmore. John was a 1967 graduate of Dunmore High School. He was a faithful and devoted member of the St Thomas More-St Mary’s Parish Community. Prior to his retirement he had been employed by the Trane Company where he also served as the union representative.
John enjoyed hunting and the great outdoors. He loved taking care of his yard and his neighbors always knew when he was outside doing yard work when they smelled burning leaves. He was a skilled machinist who could fix anything which came in handy because he loved racing cars and was also a car buff.
Also surviving are his son John Joseph Graziano, Sr. and his wife Jessica; his daughter Dana Marie Gould and her husband Michael; beloved grandchildren John Joseph Graziano, Jr. and Ashlyn Rey Gould ; sisters Ann Scrimalli and her husband Carmen and Grace Vagnetti and her husband Aldo; sister-in-law Donna Graziano.
He was also preceded in death by his brother Alfonso Graziano and nephew Mark Scrimalli.
All attending the Mass are asked to go directly to the church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 9:30am in St. Thomas More Church 105 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel by Rev. Stephen Bosomafi, pastor.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5-7pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.
Cremation will follow in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choosing.
