John E. Szczerba

Born in Chicago, IL, son of the late John A. and Stella Draus Szczerba, he had worked as an auto mechanic since he was 14 years old. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Also surviving are a daughter Deborah Linder of Lake Ariel and a son Thomas Szczerba and his wife Denise of Toms River, NJ; a nephew Fr. Mitch Pacwa; grandchildren Arielle and Thomas Szczerba and Andrew and Melanie Linder; his dear friend Russ Toepfer.

Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
