John H. “Butch” Wittenbrader

John “Butch” Wittenbrader, Lake Ariel, died early Monday morning in the Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center after an illness. His wife was the former Wilma Black.
Born 1930 in Lake Ariel, he was the son of the late Ernest and Clara Nagy Wittenbrader. He was a member of the Light of Christ Church and a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Prior to his retirement he was the owner of Butch’s Garage and had also owned his own trucking company. He was a United States Navy veteran.
Also surviving are two daughters; five step children; a brother Albert and a sister Marilyn; grandchildren; great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sons Wayne and John; a daughter Dawn Marie; brother Robert.
Funeral and military services will be held Saturday at 2pm in the Light of Christ Church 2071 Moosic Lake Rd. Route 247 Mt. Cobb by Rev. Pat Lee.
Friends may call Saturday from 1pm until time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Light of Christ Church 2071 Moosic Lake Rd. Rt. 247 Mt. Cobb, PA 18436
