Joseph S. Esposito, 84 of Lake Ariel, passed away Sunday, Feb 12 th at his home. His loving wife of 42 years is the former Karin Caldaro.

Born in Orange, NJ, he is the son of Muriel Ford – Esposito of East Hanover, NJ, and the late Salvatore Esposito. Prior to retirement, Joe was both the Assistant Fire Chief and General Maintenance of building and housing for Hovensa Oil Company in St. Croix, USVI

He was a United States Navy Veteran and served in the early sixties. He was a member of the Staff Sgt Paul A. Sweeney Post 807 in Hamlin and the Salem Masonic Lodge #330 F&AM.

In his retirement Joe enjoyed being involved in his community helping his neighbors.

Also surviving are his daughter Jan Baird and her husband William of New Jersey; son Joseph and his wife Neily of California; grandchildren Shannon Siegmund, Richard Baird, and Gabrielle Jo, Esposito; a sister Mimi Farese; brothers Robert, John, Thomas, and Richard Esposito; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother Frank Esposito.

Private cremation took place at the Lake Region Crematory in the James Wilson Funeral Home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
