Judith Stanchis

Judith Stanchis, 77, of Lake Harmony and formerly of West Scranton, passed away Sunday, March 16th at home and surrounded by her family. Her loving husband of 36 years, Joseph C. Stanchis, Jr. passed away in 2021.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Christine (Spencer) Evans. She was a graduate of West Scranton High School and obtained her Associate's Degree in Stenographic-Secretarial from Lackawanna Junior College. Prior to retirement, she was an administrative assistant at Lockhead Martin.

Surviving are her daughters Christine Weaver and her husband Edward of Lake Harmony, PA and Tracey Clark of Clementon, NJ; a son Allen Clark and his wife Nicholina of Gouldsboro, PA; grandchildren Ashdon Clark and Edward Weaver.

Friends may call Thursday, March 20th from 11:00AM - 1:00PM in the Vanston and James Funeral Home, 1401 Ash St. Scranton.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Milwaukee Cemetery, Ransom Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Judy's memory may be made to St. Luke's Hospice, 2455 Black River Road, Bethlehem, Pa 18015
