June M. Christina Ammerman

June M. Christina, Sterling, passed away Saturday morning at home after an illness.  She was the widow of Joseph J. Christina who passed away in 2016.

Born 1945 in Honesdale, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Celia Lennon Ammerman.  She was a lifelong member of the Lakeville United Methodist Church.  June was employed with RCA for over thirty years prior to the Throop facility’s closing.

Surviving are a son Thomas Hineline, Jr. and his wife Michele of Sterling; a sister Jean Corey; a brother George Ammerman both of Lakeville; grandson John Thomas Hineline;  nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by granddaughters Katie and Kelly Hineline; a brother Francis Ammerman; a sister Anna Ammerman.

The family would like to thank Dr. James McKenna and Wayne Memorial Hospice caregivers Charlene, Amanda, Beth & especially Ginny for their exceptional care and compassion for June and our family.

Friends may call Monday from 4-7pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.

Cremation will follow in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
