June E. Scibilia, Lake Ariel, died Monday evening at home after a long illness. She was the widow of Joseph J. Scibilia who died on January 24, 2017.
Born 1937 in Davenport, Iowa she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Bonita Appleby Scheel. A homemaker for years, she was a loving wife, mother and Nana to her family. June had such a warm and fun personality that she became a friend to everyone she met over the years. She also loved to cook and bake. She will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank her personal aide, JoAnne and also everyone at Traditional Home Health and Hospice for all the love and support they gave to Mom.

Surviving are sons Rick Campbell of Scranton and Gene Campbell of Oklahoma; daughters Kathie Henderson of Texas and Julie Megargel and her husband Jeff of Maryland; a brother LeRoy Scheel, Jr. and a sister Linda Wilming both of Iowa; grandchildren Melissa Baker, Christin Malicki and Grace Megargel; a great granddaughter Ava Lynn Price.
She was proceeded in death a sister Mabel Roe.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel by Rev. Fred Snyder.
Friends may call Monday from Noon until time of service at the funeral home.
Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ledgedale.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Traditional Home Health and Hospice 113 W. Drinker St. Dunmore, PA 18512.
